AWS Observability services & Cost

We all are in services industry and at the end of the day, what we don’t want to have is a ‘grumpy’ customer, i.e. we need our customers to be HAPPY! We all are customer obsessed but at the same time, we all are asked to do MORE with LESS……! You might have heard that before :)

So how do you make sure that the services that you host are reliable and available..? Here comes the importance of Observability! And being intentional about what you monitor has a bigger influence on the reliability of your service, which leads to the overall customer satisfaction.

When customers start moving workloads to Cloud, two most important questions I hear are;

1. Are the lights on?
2. How much those lights are costing?
